My Earlier Works

As you browse the list of portfolio items I have included, you would no doubt notice that earlier works that are shown further down the list do show their age in comparison to my more recent efforts.

However I have decided to include them at the risk of diluting the quality of the overall work displayed in order to show my own growth as an artist and designer. I sincerely hope by showcasing my past, inferior now as it may be, would add rather than detract from the portfolio as a whole.

Current Design

As you undoubtibly realized, I have place the thumbnail for this website as the very first portfolio item in the Web Design section. I hope it does not seem as if I am trying to artificially "pad" the item count, but rather to point out and make note of the fact that this website serves as a milestone of my current design and creative output.

This site is done with a plethora of transparent PNGs, which is my pledge to throw away the outdated and limited GIFs and advance the web in my own small way.

But of course IE have problems, especially IE6, which still has about 27% market share according to w3school. I've implemented support for IE6 using a combination of HTC behaviour, Javascript image filter, replacement non-transparent png files as well as removing gama information to create a perfect presentation without taking any noticeable rendering speed hit - a MAJOR problem when using the HTC method alone.

Unfortunately IE 5 and lower can not be supported, but I think it is safe drop the support for those since this site is a portfolio website for multimedia that is intended to be a showcase of my design abilities.

But make NO mistake, if required to I am more than able to design around limitations of requirements, I just took a calculated risk here.
